What's the Difference?

There isn't one.

Insurrection: a violent uprising against an authority or government

Revolution: A forcible overthrow of a government or social order, in favor of a new system.

My thoughts summed up in 3 quotes:

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."- #JFK

"War is when the government tells you who the bad guy is. Revolution is when you decide it for yourself. - #BenjaminFranklin

"You can jail a Revolutionary, but you can't jail the Revolution." - #HueyPNewton

Government have been limiting our freedoms since at least the Bush Administration & the Patriot Act, and increasing government control and authority.

People are incredibly short-sighted, incapable of different vantage points the more removed they are from them. In 5-10 years we'll have more opportunities & less freedoms. Congress is full of privileged wealthy people. Many come from middle-upper class families. Many are over the age 45 and have been serving for 20 years, and taxes have increase. They say it's the cost of goods, but they don't make companies pay you more, they give them tax breaks and vote to increase Congress's pay and increase the National Spending. Then tax you. First they silenced Trump, no one cared because he says terrible things, some of it was true, most not. Then they silenced his supporters, sympathizers and friends. Then they silenced their friends and their friends, and when you tried to say something, you couldn't because you're linked somehow to something they deemed inappropriate & Congress said they're a private company. They let him say it for FOUR years (more like 12 if you include the Birth certificate thing with Obama) so I'm left with asking what don't they want him to say now? But nonetheless, no one cares because it's Trump, but in reality it can be any of us. Have we forgot the PUBLIC fight for equity & representation in media & business is not that long. That means they're still mostly white middle class people deciding what's apparent. Literally, there could be hair-touching Becky & Ruffie Dave, deciding what appropriate. Politicians are used to dealing in backroom and behind closed doors, I prefer my communication open, direct, and unfiltered. I want to know who I can trust with what and how people think and what they believe and we only get that when we allow people to express themselves uncensored. It's ridiculous that I have to say it, but that does NOT mean they will not be consequences for those beliefs, words, and actions. Being censored isn't a realistic solution, all it does is ignore the issue altogether.
